Announcement of withdrawal from the World Anti-Imperialist Platform (WAP)
Revolutionary Unification (R.U.) announces its withdrawal from the World Anti-Imperialist Platform (WAP). The reason for this decision is not political. It is well known that Revolutionary Unification agrees with the political agenda of WAP as originally formulated in the Paris Declaration (https://wap21.org/?p=334) and in its subsequent declarations. In fact, R.U. successfully hosted the 5th WAP Conference, which took place in Greece.
In recent months, a series of events have taken place, which we have not made public, but we have brought to the attention of WAP and, instead of a response, we have found that we were replaced by the current form of the Revolutionary Theory Group (R.T.G.) (see images below).

It is reasonable to ask who decided, if and by whom the R.T.G. will be represented at political events, both inside and outside Greece. The majority of our members, as founding members of the R.T.G., do not understand how the R.T.G. was invited to Caracas, given that R.T.G. is not a political organization, has not taken any decision to participate in any other association of organizations within or outside Greece, and has never received such an invitation. Who decided which individuals would participate on behalf of the R.T.G., when no such decision exists (nor could it exist)?
All of the above were put directly to the WAP, and pending explanations from them, we informed them that R.U. would suspend its participation in the WAP until R.U. was restored as a full member with the corresponding rights and obligations. Instead of a comradely response, we received an evasive reply that did not address any of the issues raised. Therefore, our decision to withdraw from the WAP was now a foregone conclusion.
