We congratulate our comrades from the CPM-K on the success of their 2nd National Congress, and also on the liberation of their National President, Comrade Mwaivu Kaluka, and National Organising Secretary, Comrade Kinuthia Ndung’u, who were abducted by police forces in Nairobi on 21 November.
The comrades of the CPM-K have shown unwavering resilience in the face of constant attacks from the government of imperialist puppet William Ruto, which is seeking to keep the people of Kenya under the yoke of imperialist neo-colonialism, while at the same time attempting to play the role of “peacekeeper” by intervening to preserve imperialist interests abroad, as in Haiti.
The CPM-K is not only resisting the violent repression, abductions and disappearances of its members and even the ruthless killing of comrades in the streets, it is reorganising itself under a new name, with updated symbols and a strong leadership, showing the imperialists and their minions that their days on the African continent are numbered.
As the African countries are driving out the imperialist monopolies and the military bases of the imperialists from their soil, the CPM-K is consistently advancing towards the realisation of the objectives of the National Democratic Revolution (NDR) with a frontal struggle for an independent and socialist Kenya.
The objectives of the CPM-K are fully in line with the three main objectives of the World Anti-Imperialist Platform, with which Revolutionary Unification is strongly aligned: strengthening the anti-imperialist struggle, strengthening the struggle against the ideology of imperialism, the opportunism of our time and strengthening the communist movement as the core of genuine anti-imperialism.
The international progressive community demands: Hands off our comrades in the CPM-K!
Free the people of Kenya and all the peoples of Africa from all forms of neocolonial dependency!
Out with the imperialist bases and occupying armies!
Crush the US-led imperialist axis!
